Sinopse: “Bored to Death” é uma produção da Dakota Picutres, com distribuição da HBO. Foi criada por Jonathan Ames, que será o produtor executivo, e estrelada por Jason Swartzmen. Também no elenco estão Ted Danson, visto recentemente em “Damages”, e Zach Galifianakis, de “Tru Calling”. Além de Kristen Wiig e Parker Posey.
A comédia gira em torno de Jonathan, um escritor de trinta e poucos, alcoólatra, que se torna um detetive particular. Apaixonado pelos romances escrito por Raymond Chandler e Dashiel Hammett, Jonathan tentará à sua maneira, mas sem grandes resultados. A premissa lembra um pouco a série “Dupla Genial” estrelada por Jeff Goldblum nos anos 80.
